Call for Applications: GET Compass Entrepreneurship Grant 2026 for Emerging Entrepreneurs | Up to ₦2 Million Grant for Nigerian Entrepreneurs
Applications are open for the GET Compass Cohort 5, an enterprise development and grant programme by Grooming Endowment Trust (GET) designed to support Nigerian entrepreneurs and owners of small and medium-scale businesses.
The programme combines business training, mentorship, one-on-one business support and access to grant funding. Selected entrepreneurs will receive support to strengthen their businesses, improve their operations and position them for sustainable growth.
Successful participants will also have the opportunity to pitch their businesses for grant funding of up to ₦2 million.
About GET Compass
GET Compass is the flagship enterprise grant programme of Grooming Endowment Trust. It is designed to equip entrepreneurs with the knowledge, mentorship and financial resources needed to build and scale sustainable businesses.
Rather than providing funding alone, the programme takes selected entrepreneurs through business development activities that help them better understand their businesses, identify areas for improvement and develop strategies for growth.
Cohort 5 is targeted at relatively young Nigerian businesses with the potential to grow, create jobs and make a meaningful economic impact.
What Selected Entrepreneurs Will Receive
Participants selected for the programme will benefit from:
- Expert-led business training
- Business mentorship and guidance
- One-on-one business clinics
- Practical support to strengthen and scale their businesses
- Opportunity to present their businesses to an expert panel
- Access to grant funding of up to ₦2,000,000
The grant component is competitive, with participants getting an opportunity to pitch their businesses as part of the programme.

Grant Funding
Successful entrepreneurs can receive:
- Up to ₦2,000,000 in SME grant funding
The funding is intended to provide growing businesses with additional financial resources to scale their operations and pursue growth opportunities.
Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for GET Compass Cohort 5:
- You must be a Nigerian citizen.
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- You must own a business.
- Your business must not be more than three years old.
- Your business must be registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).
- You must be available to attend a two-week workshop in Lagos.
Applicants should therefore ensure they can participate in the physical Lagos workshop before applying.

Participants will subsequently have an opportunity to pitch their businesses before an expert panel, with grant funding of up to ₦2 million available.

Physical Participation
Applicants should note that the programme is not entirely remote.
Selected participants must be available to attend a two-week workshop in Lagos.
Entrepreneurs applying from outside Lagos should therefore consider their ability to participate physically if selected.
