Key Qualifications
Qualifications vary depending on the position and may include:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Master’s degree
- PhD
- HND
- Relevant professional certifications
Some positions require substantial post-qualification cognate experience, while professional positions require registration or membership with the relevant professional body.
Examples include:
- Medical Officer I: MBBS, registration with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria, and NYSC discharge/exemption certificate.
- Chief Nurse: Nigerian Registered Nurse certificate and the required cognate experience.
- Senior Medical Laboratory Scientist: Relevant Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science, professional registration, and required experience.
- Director ICT: Relevant Bachelor’s degree/HND or postgraduate qualification, extensive relevant experience, and professional membership.
Applicants for engineering and built-environment positions must possess relevant professional qualifications and registration where applicable.

Application Requirements
Applicants should prepare the following:
- Twenty copies of the typed application letter.
- A detailed and current CV of not more than four pages.
- Educational certificates and relevant credentials.
- Birth certificate, age declaration, or NPC age registration.
- NYSC discharge, exemption, or exclusion certificate.
- Evidence of computer training, where applicable.
- Evidence of membership of relevant professional bodies.
- Valid government-approved identification.
- Medical Certificate of Fitness from a government hospital.
- Two passport-sized photographs.
The CV should include personal information, academic qualifications, professional experience, employment history, publications where applicable, professional memberships, computer training, extracurricular activities, and details of three referees.
