The Fall 2026 Giving Joy Microgrant Round opened on September 1, 2026.

  • Application deadline: September 30, 2026
  • Review period: October 1 – November 30, 2026
  • Awards announced: Beginning of December 2026
  • Grant duration: Up to six months

Applicants who have not heard from Giving Joy by December 1, 2026 should consider their application unsuccessful.

Important things to know

  • Only one application per applicant per cycle is allowed.
  • Previous Giving Joy grant recipients cannot apply again.
  • Proposed activities must be legal.
  • Giving Joy does not primarily fund inventory for resale, advertising, marketing, or unrelated personal expenses.
  • Projects should demonstrate benefits beyond the applicant’s personal financial gain.
  • Applications can be submitted in languages that can be translated using Google Translate.
