About the Access Bank Womenpreneur Pitch-a-ton Program
The Access Bank Womenpreneur Pitch-a-ton Program was launched to support women entrepreneurs by providing them with the knowledge, skills, funding, and networks needed to grow sustainable businesses.
In its first edition, the program provided 50 women entrepreneurs in Nigeria with a free Mini-MBA certification and awarded ₦18 million in financial grants to the top five beneficiaries.
The program was implemented in partnership with the International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group.
Following its success in Nigeria, the program was expanded to other African countries where Access Bank’s W Initiative has a presence. Since then, more than 300 women entrepreneurs across Africa have benefited from the Mini-MBA program.
The 2026 edition will select 120 women entrepreneurs in Nigeria for a fully sponsored Mini-MBA program, while selected finalists will also have the opportunity to receive business grants.

Access Bank Womenpreneur Program Requirements
To be eligible, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Must have an Access Bank account, either an individual or business account.
- Must be a woman entrepreneur with at least 50% ownership of the business.
- The business must be registered.
- Must be between 18 and 55 years old.
- The business must have been operating for more than one year.
- Must complete and submit the online application form.
Second Stage Requirement
Shortlisted applicants will be required to submit a one-minute video pitch explaining their business.
Access Bank Womenpreneur Program Benefits
The program offers women entrepreneurs opportunities to improve their businesses, develop leadership skills, access funding, and build valuable business connections.
In 2026, 120 exceptional women entrepreneurs will be selected to participate in an intensive, fully sponsored Mini-MBA program designed to:

Grant Funding
Selected beneficiaries will receive grants as follows:
- 1st beneficiary: ₦7 million
- 2nd beneficiary: ₦5 million
- 3rd beneficiary: ₦3 million
- 4th beneficiary: ₦2 million
- 5th beneficiary: ₦1 million
Additional Grants
- ₦500,000 each for five additional beneficiaries
- ₦250,000 each for ten additional beneficiaries

How to Apply for Access Bank Womenpreneur Program 2026

Stage 1: Join the W Community
Join the Access Bank W Community to begin the application process.
Stage 2: Complete the Online Application
Applicants should:
- Provide their personal and business information correctly.
- Give a brief description of their business.
- Answer all required questions.
- Review and submit the application form.

Stage 3: Submit Your 60-Second Business Pitch
Shortlisted applicants will need to create a 60-second elevator pitch video about their business.
The video should:
- Clearly explain the business.
- Have clear audio.
- Be recorded using a phone or video camera.
- Be no more than 50MB in size.
Upload the video through the application portal after completing the required steps.
Stage 4: Mini-MBA Selection
The top 120 applicants will be contacted via email and invited to participate in the fully sponsored Mini-MBA program.
