Step by Step Guide How to Apply for Civil Defence Immigration Correctional and Fire Service Recruitment 2025
The Federal Government has officially opened the 2025 recruitment exercise for four major agencies under the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB).
The recruitment is open to both graduates and non-graduates.
The board confirmed that the 2025 recruitment will cover the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Nigeria Correctional Service (NCoS), Federal Fire Service (FFS), and the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC).

The vacancies have been categorised into three categories; category A which is graduates, Category B which is for Nurses, Registered Midwives, and Registered Nurses/Midwives (RNIM), and category C which is for non-graduates with minimum requirement of GCE Ordinary level, SSCE/NECO.

Eligibility Requirements
- Citizenship: Nigerian by birth
- Age: 18 to 35 years
- Character: Must have no criminal record
- Health: Must be medically and physically fit
Height:
- Male: Minimum 1.65 metres, chest size 0.87 metres
- Female: Minimum 1.60 metres

Educational Qualifications
The educational qualifications depends on the category you are applying for, however the minimum qualification is Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE) with 4–5 credits including English and Mathematics Applicants with NCE, OND, HND, B.Sc. or higher degrees in relevant fields such as law, engineering, medicine, or technical trades are encouraged to apply

4. Select a Cadre:
- Category A: Superintendent Cadre
- Category B: Inspectorate Cadre
- Category C: Assistant Cadre
5. Fill Personal Details: Upload educational documents, birth certificate, passport photograph, national ID, etc.
6. Review and Submit: Check for accuracy before final submission.
