itel Energy, the solar division of Transsion, officially launched in Nigeria in August/September 2024 with a mission to deliver affordable, reliable solar energy solutions tailored for Nigerian homes and businesses.

We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Specialist to join our growing team and help drive the adoption of solar inverter solutions across Nigeria.

Job Summary

As a Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for promoting and selling solar inverters and related products to a wide range of clients.

This role requires someone with a passion for clean energy, a flair for sales, and the ability to communicate technical information clearly.

Key Responsibilities

Market and sell solar inverters to residential, commercial, and industrial customers
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calls, referrals, and on-site visits
Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate solar solutions
Prepare quotes, deliver product demonstrations, and follow up on proposals
Meet or exceed individual and team sales targets
Build and maintain strong customer relationships, providing ongoing support after sales
Keep up-to-date with market trends, competitor activities, and new product developments
Work closely with technical and installation teams to ensure excellent service delivery

Requirements

HND/Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
1–2 years’ experience in sales (experience in solar or technical sales is a plus)
Basic understanding of solar power or a strong interest in renewable energy
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Self-motivated and able to work independently
Proficient in basic digital tools such as email, Excel, and mobile apps
Willingness to travel when necessary
