Call for Applications: ICT Trainers for 3-Month Digital Skills Development Programme 2025
The Women Environmental Programme (WEP) invites applications from qualified and passionate ICT trainers to facilitate a 3-month Digital Skills Development Programme under the WomenPower2030: Feminist Accelerate Action for Sustainable Development project.
This impactful initiative aims to empower young girls, women, and persons with disabilities (PWDs) in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja, by equipping them with practical digital skills to boost employment opportunities, foster entrepreneurship, and enhance advocacy in today’s technology-driven world.
Location: Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja, Nigeria
Training Areas
We are seeking experienced trainers who can deliver hands-on, interactive sessions in one or more of the following focus areas:
- Office Suite Essentials (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Graphic Design (Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Canva)
- Video Editing (Premiere Pro, CapCut, Filmora, or similar tools)
- UI/UX Design (Figma, Adobe XD, etc.)
- Web Development using WordPress CMS
Trainer Responsibilities
Selected trainers will be expected to:
- Deliver engaging, inclusive, and beginner-friendly ICT training sessions
- Design and share simple lesson plans, hands-on activities, and assessments
- Provide continuous support and mentorship to learners throughout the training
- Track and report on participant progress and outcomes
- Work collaboratively with the WEP team to ensure a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment

Qualifications and Requirements
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
- A degree, diploma, or certified qualification in ICT, Computer Science, or related fields
- Proven experience delivering digital skills training or mentorship in one or more of the listed focus areas
- Proficiency in relevant software, tools, and platforms for the selected course(s)
- Strong skills in communication, facilitation, and learner engagement
- Prior experience working with women, youth, or persons with disabilities is an added advantage
- Ability to create a welcoming and empowering classroom experience
