Call for Applications: The Fashion Academy x Creative Leap Acceleration Programme 2025 for Nigerian Youths (CLAP)
In partnership with The Fashion Academy Abuja, this transformative programme is designed to close skill gaps and equip aspiring fashion entrepreneurs with essential technical skills and business knowledge.
It is a strategic initiative aimed at strengthening Nigeria’s fashion value chain by delivering hands-on, industry-relevant training to early-stage fashion innovators.
The programme will be implemented in two phases—September to October 2025 and March 2026—with ongoing monitoring and evaluation led jointly by the Ministry and The Fashion Academy Abuja.

Available Courses
Participants can apply for one of the following fully practical training tracks:
- Pattern Making and Professional Sewing Techniques
- Fashion Business and Branding
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must:
- Possess a minimum of an O-Level certificate
- Have basic experience in tailoring or the fashion industry
- Provide evidence of an existing fashion business or a creative portfolio
- Demonstrate strong commitment to personal and professional growth
