Eligibility Criteria for ANSO Scholarship 2026
To qualify for the ANSO Scholarship, applicants must:
- Not hold Chinese citizenship
- Be proficient in either English or Chinese
- Meet age requirements:
- Master’s applicants: Born after January 1, 1995
- PhD applicants: Born after January 1, 1990
- Meet admission criteria for international students of USTC or UCAS
- Not take up other assignments during the scholarship period
- Be currently enrolled outside China (Applicants already studying for a Master’s or PhD in China are not eligible)
Note: Applicants are not allowed to apply for the ANSO Scholarship through both USTC and UCAS simultaneously. Doing so will result in automatic disqualification.
