Applications are invited from interested and qualified candidates for the CDCFIB Mid-Management Recruitment.
The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) is seeking suitably qualified candidates to fill various Mid-Management positions within the Federal Fire Service (FFS).
1. Deputy Controller of Fire (DCF), CONPASS 14
Specifications:
- Employment Type: Full Time
- Qualification: BA/BSc/HND
- Location: All States, Nigeria
- Category: Federal Government Jobs
Description:
- Fill an existing high-level mid-management position within the Federal Fire Service.
- Exercise authority befitting a senior leadership rank (CONPASS 14).
- Contribute to strategic leadership and operational efficiency across the service.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Must be an employee of a Federal, State, or Local Government MDA.
- Minimum height: 1.65m (Male), 1.60m (Female).
- Physically and mentally fit.
- Must present a Medical Certificate of Fitness from a government-recognized hospital.
- Must be free from financial embarrassment.
- Personnel of Paramilitary Services are not eligible.
Mandatory Documents:
- Letter of Identification from LGA of Origin.
- Confirmation of Appointment.
- Three (3) years APER/PMS.
- Certified True Copy (CTC) of Record of Service.
- Certified Criminal Record.
- Copies of previous appointment letters.
2. Assistant Controller of Fire, CONPASS 13
Specifications:
- Employment Type: Full Time
- Qualification: BA/BSc/HND
- Location: All States, Nigeria
- Category: Federal Government Jobs
Description:
- Fill an existing senior mid-management position within the FFS.
- Exercise authority commensurate with CONPASS 13.
- Support operational and administrative leadership.

- MDA employee.
- Height requirements: 1.65m (Male), 1.60m (Female).
- Physically and mentally fit.
- Medical Certificate of Fitness.
- Free from financial embarrassment.
- Paramilitary personnel not eligible.

3. Chief Superintendent of Fire, CONPASS 12
Specifications:
- Employment Type: Full Time
- Qualification: BA/BSc/HND
- Location: All States, Nigeria
- Category: Federal Government Jobs
Description:
- Fill a mid-management role within the FFS.
- Perform supervisory duties aligned with CONPASS 12.
- Support implementation of service policies and oversee operational teams.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- MDA employee.
- Height requirements: 1.65m (Male), 1.60m (Female).
- Must be physically and mentally fit.
- Valid Medical Certificate of Fitness.
- Must be free from financial embarrassment.
- Not open to Paramilitary personnel.
