The Zamfara State Internal Revenue Service (ZIRS) invites applications from qualified, competent, and motivated individuals to fill various positions across the Service.
In pursuit of its mandate to strengthen revenue mobilization and administration, ZIRS is seeking talented professionals who uphold integrity, competence, and dedication to public service.

Available Positions & Fields
1. Tax Administration
- Position: Inspector of Taxes II
- Fields: Accounting, Economics, Taxation, or related disciplines
- Experience: 0–3 years post-NYSC
2. Legal & Compliance
- Field: Law (LL.B, BL)
- Requirement: Valid professional legal qualifications
3. Public Enlightenment & Communication
- Fields: Mass Communication, Public Relations, or related areas
- Advantage: Media and communication certifications
Professional Certifications (Added Advantage)
CITN, ICAN, ANAN, ACCA, or other relevant professional certifications.
General Requirements
- Must be an indigene of Zamfara State
- Age: 18–35 years (for entry-level roles)
- Must be of good character with no criminal record
- Must be medically fit (certified by a government hospital)
- Must possess a valid Tax Identification Number (TIN) and be tax compliant
- Minimum of HND/Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized institution (Second Class Lower/Lower Credit or equivalent)
- Must provide a birth certificate or declaration of age
