Call for Applications: AMR Leaders Program 2026 for Tertiary Students in Africa | Cohort 4.0
The AMR Leaders Program for Tertiary Students in Africa (Cohort 4.0) is a hybrid capacity-building and leadership programme designed for undergraduate students studying in Africa who are passionate about tackling Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR).
Implemented by ReAct Africa, the programme aims to empower young leaders with the knowledge, practical skills, and professional networks required to design and implement sustainable, student-led AMR interventions within their institutions and local communities.
The programme adopts a systems-thinking approach, blending virtual learning with collaborative, hands-on engagement. It will run from February to May 2026, bringing together motivated students from diverse academic and professional backgrounds across Africa.

Eligibility
To be eligible for the AMR Leaders Program (Cohort 4.0), applicants must:
- Be an undergraduate (tertiary-level) student
- Be currently studying in Africa
- Demonstrate interest in public health, AMR mitigation, or related fields
- Be willing to actively participate in virtual and collaborative programme activities
- Show commitment to promoting AMR awareness and driving interventions within their institution or community
Students from all academic disciplines are encouraged to apply, as addressing AMR requires multidisciplinary solutions.
