Details of the Swedish Institute Global Executive Programme

The SI Global Executive Programme is designed for senior executives who aim to align business growth with sustainable impact.

The programme supports business leaders in strengthening their capacity to lead transformations that are economically resilient, socially responsible, and environmentally sustainable.

Participants will gain practical insights from Swedish organisations and leaders who are at the forefront of the global green transition. These insights are then applied directly to the participants’ own business environments to drive meaningful change.

Eligibility Requirements for the SI Global Executive Programme 2026

To be considered for the programme, applicants must:

  • Be a citizen and resident of one of the programme countries: Bangladesh, Brazil, China, Colombia, Côte d’Ivoire, Egypt, Georgia, DR Congo, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Malaysia, Mexico, Moldova, Morocco, Nigeria, Philippines, Rwanda, South Africa, Tanzania, Thailand, Türkiye, Ukraine*, or Vietnam.
    Ukrainian applicants residing outside Ukraine are also eligible.
  • Hold a leadership role (such as CEO or senior executive) in a medium or large company with responsibility for driving strategic change within the organisation.
  • Be at least 30 years old (born in 1996 or earlier).
  • Have strong working knowledge of written and spoken English.
  • Hold a post-secondary qualification equivalent to a bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • Be willing to actively participate in the programme and share knowledge and experiences with other participants.
  • Have identified business challenges or development needs that can be addressed during the programme to help their organisation contribute to a more sustainable world.
