About the Program
The WTO Young Trade Leaders Program is designed to create a global network of outstanding young individuals who are passionate about trade and its impact on people and the planet.
Selected participants will gain deep insights into international trade, contribute fresh ideas, and actively engage in advancing the WTO’s mission.
Who Should Apply?
To be eligible, applicants must:
- Be 18–30 years old at the application deadline
- Be a citizen of a WTO member country
- Have a strong interest in international trade
- Not be affiliated with the WTO (including relatives)
- Have good command of English (French or Spanish is a plus)
- Be open-minded, diplomatic, and willing to engage diverse perspectives
- Be available for the full one-year programme
