Program Details
The TVET Program is a flagship initiative designed to help participants gain practical skills needed for self-employment or job opportunities. Through partnerships with accredited training centres nationwide, beneficiaries will receive free training and career support.
Eligibility Requirements
1. Short-Term Certificate (STC) Programme
This track is for individuals who want to learn a practical skill and quickly enter the workforce.
Requirements:
- Valid National Identification Number (NIN)
- Valid Bank Verification Number (BVN)
- No prior educational qualification required
2. Vocational Education & Innovation (VEI) Programme
This track is for individuals with some education or informal training experience who want to improve and formalize their skills.
Requirements (any one of the following):
- Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
- First School Leaving Certificate (FSLC)
- Non-formal education certificate (NGO, religious institution, nomadic education, or community program)
