NITDA iHatch Nationwide Incubation Programme Cohort 5 Opens Applications for Nigerian Startups
The National Information Technology Development Agency, through its Office for Nigerian Digital Innovation (ONDI), has officially opened applications for the iHatch Nationwide Incubation Programme Cohort 5 — one of Nigeria’s most ambitious and inclusive startup development initiatives.
The iHatch programme is widely regarded as Nigeria’s first truly nationwide incubation initiative, operating across all 36 states and the FCT through a decentralised, hub-first model.
Unlike many traditional incubation programmes that focus only on startups, iHatch adopts a dual-track approach by also strengthening innovation hubs and equipping them to become long-term drivers of entrepreneurial growth within their regions.
This structure ensures that participating startups continue to benefit from mentorship, resources, and ecosystem support even after the programme concludes.
