The Obafemi Awolowo Foundation is pleased to invite applications from qualified and interested candidates for the 2026 Future Leaders Fellowship Programme.
The fellowship offers an 8-week intensive leadership journey designed for emerging leaders across Africa, the Caribbean, and the global diaspora.
About the Programme
Applications are now open for the 2026 Ọbafẹmi Awolọwọ Future Leaders Fellowship Programme.
Inspired by the enduring legacy of Chief Ọbafẹmi Awolọwọ, SAN, GCFR (1909–1987), this highly selective and merit-based initiative is designed to nurture ethical, visionary, and transformative young leaders.
The programme aims to equip participants aged 20–35 years with the values, discipline, and global perspective required for impactful leadership and public service.

Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for the fellowship, applicants must:
- Be between the ages of 25–30 years
- Be a citizen of Africa, the Caribbean, or the global diaspora
- Demonstrate a strong interest in leadership and public service
- Show integrity, vision, and leadership potential
- Be available for the full duration of the programme
