Applications are now open for the AfroTech Girls Laptop Scholarship 2026, an initiative by Afro-Tech Girls aimed at empowering young African women in STEM by providing high-performance laptops and access to learning opportunities.
The program is designed to support female students who are passionate about building careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) but lack access to the digital tools needed to fully pursue their goals.

AfroTech Girls Laptop Scholarship 2026 Details
The AfroTech Girls Laptop Scholarship 2026 is an initiative created to empower female students in STEM fields by providing them with the technology needed to advance their academic and professional development.
As part of the celebration of International Women’s Day 2026, the program seeks to support talented young women across Africa who are eager to build careers in technology but do not have access to personal laptops.
Through this initiative, 20 high-performance laptops will be awarded to selected applicants. These laptops will enable recipients to:
- Build and develop technical projects
- Learn new digital and programming tools
- Strengthen technical and professional skills
- Access global online learning and tech opportunities

Eligibility Requirements
To be considered for the AfroTech Laptop Scholarship 2026, applicants must:
- Be an African female
