Programme Overview

The AMSCO 2026 Internship Programme is a structured 6–12 month initiative designed for recent graduates seeking to gain hands-on work experience, professional mentorship, and exposure to dynamic, real-world business environments.

This programme aims to equip young Africans with practical employability skills, leadership capabilities, and industry insights needed to thrive in today’s competitive global market.

As an AMSCO intern, you’ll collaborate with experienced professionals, contribute to impactful projects, and develop transferable skills across several business functions — all while being part of an organisation that champions sustainable growth and African excellence.

Internship Details

Departments Available

Successful candidates will be placed in departments aligned with their qualifications, interests, and career aspirations:

• Accounting & Finance – Support budgeting, reporting, and financial analysis while gaining exposure to international finance systems.
• Sales & Marketing – Participate in campaigns, digital marketing, client engagement, and market research projects.
• Communications – Assist in content creation, media relations, internal communications, and brand storytelling.
• Human Resources (HR) – Support recruitment, onboarding, HR analytics, and staff engagement initiatives.
• Legal – Gain insight into corporate governance, compliance, and legal research in an international development setting.

Key Responsibilities

Your role will vary based on your assigned department, but may include:

• Supporting day-to-day administrative, operational, or technical tasks.
• Conducting research, data collection, and analysis to inform strategic decisions.
• Assisting in project coordination, client communications, or fieldwork.
• Preparing reports, presentations, and documentation for internal and external use.
• Contributing innovative ideas to improve workflows and organisational efficiency.
• Participating in mentorship sessions, workshops, and team meetings.
• Demonstrating professionalism, adaptability, and a strong commitment to learning.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Background

• Recent graduates (within the last 1–3 years) with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Sales, Marketing, Communications, Human Resources, Legal Studies, or a related discipline.
