Applications are now open for the BOI–MTN Foundation Yellopreneur Program 2026 — a high-impact initiative designed to empower women entrepreneurs in Nigeria through capacity building, access to funding, and business support services.
This programme is a collaboration between the Bank of Industry and the MTN Foundation, aimed at reducing unemployment and strengthening women-led businesses across the country.
About the Yellopreneur Program
The Yellopreneur Initiative is a flagship women empowerment programme focused on equipping female entrepreneurs with the skills, funding, and advisory support needed to build and scale sustainable businesses.
The latest phase (Yellopreneur 3.0) introduces a ₦1 billion matching fund, significantly expanding access to capital for women-led enterprises.

Program Benefits
Selected participants will gain access to:
- Entrepreneurship & business management training
- Loans of up to ₦5 million (single-digit interest rate)

Program Structure
The programme follows a structured process:
- Training Phase – Intensive entrepreneurial training
- Business Plan Development – Creation of viable business proposals
- Pitch Stage – Participants present their businesses

About 1,000 women are trained, with top-performing participants selected for funding.
Eligibility Criteria
To apply, you must:

- Own or run an existing business (typically 2+ years old)
Operate in sectors such as:
