Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for the UNDP Global Internship 2026, applicants must meet one of the following educational requirements:

  • Be enrolled in a graduate school programme (Master’s degree or equivalent); or
  • Be in the final academic year of an undergraduate degree programme (Bachelor’s level or equivalent); or
  • Have recently graduated (Bachelor’s or Master’s) and commence the internship within one year of graduation.

Additional Requirements:

  • Demonstrated interest or experience in one of the listed workstreams.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in multicultural, fast-paced environments.

Internship Duration and Benefits

  • Duration: 6 months (February 2 – July 31, 2026)
  • Stipend: Approximately $1000 per month (Copenhagen rate; varies by location).
  • Schedule: Full-time or part-time (stipend prorated accordingly).
  • Learning Experience: Direct exposure to UN systems, global project management, and people development initiatives.

  • Strong IT literacy and data management skills.
