- The 2026 National Medical Team (NMT) operation will be conducted strictly on a voluntary basis, in line with international best practices and as approved by NAHCON Management.
- Information provided by applicants will be used to assess eligibility and qualification for the next stage of screening or examination.
- All submitted information is subject to verification. Any omission, misrepresentation, or falsification may result in disqualification or removal from the eligibility list.
- The application process is completely free of charge. NAHCON does not collect any fee, directly or indirectly, through agents or agencies. Applicants are advised to beware of fraud.
- Submission of an application does not guarantee selection or eligibility.
- Age Requirements:
- Doctors: 27–60 years
- Pharmacists: 26–60 years
- Nurses and all other categories: 22–60 years
- Applicants must:
i. Be in active service at the time of application.
ii. Not have participated in the last three Hajj operations (2023, 2024, and 2025).
iii. Be willing to work for 28 days and remain in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for up to 45 days before returning to Nigeria. - Successful applicants will not be disengaged for any reason before completing the assigned 28 days of duty.
- All successful applicants must demonstrate good conduct and strictly adhere to their professional code of ethics, as well as all rules and regulations issued by NAHCON for NMT operations.
- Each application must include a Guarantor’s Attestation:
- The guarantor must be a credible individual who is either:
- A Career Civil Servant (not below GL 15),
- A Traditional Ruler,
- A Magistrate, or
- A Local Government Chairman.
- The guarantor must have known the applicant for at least five (5) years and be able to vouch for their integrity, competence, and capability.
- The guarantor must be willing to submit a copy of a valid means of identification accepted by Nigerian public offices.
- Required Documents (to be attached):
a. Completed Guarantor’s Form
b. Basic professional certificate
c. NYSC certificate (where applicable)
d. Current annual professional practicing license
e. Passport-style photograph (white background)
f. Applicant’s declaration
g. Employer’s clearance letter
