Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility depends on the applicant category:

Category 1: Graduate Engineers (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical)

  • Nigerian citizens aged 18–35
  • Degree or HND in a relevant engineering discipline from a recognized institution
  • Currently unemployed and not in full-time government employment
  • Completed NYSC or possess an exemption/exclusion certificate
  • Willing to work in Local Government Areas where Ministry projects are ongoing
  • Basic computer skills (knowledge of engineering software is an advantage)

Category 2: Skilled Artisans (e.g. Mason, Carpenter, Electrician)

  • Nigerian citizens aged 18–49
  • Vocational training, trade test certification, or proven hands-on experience
  • Unemployed at the time of application
  • Physically fit for construction and site-based work
  • Willing to undergo additional training and project attachment
