31st May, 2025 – The Bauchi State Contributory Pension Commission has announced that it will start issuing gratuity cheques to pensioners on Monday, June 2, 2025.
This phase of the payment is specifically for those who retired in November 2012.
The announcement was shared with the public through a statement signed by the Commission’s Information and Public Relations Officer. It highlighted the ongoing commitment of the Bauchi State Government under Governor Sen. Bala Abdulkadir Muhammad to gradually clear all outstanding gratuities.
The Executive Secretary of the Commission, Alh. Ibrahim Inuwa, stated that the event will take place at the Bauchi State Pension Board headquarters, Abubakar Umar Secretariat, by 11:00 a.m. He advised affected pensioners to come along with the necessary documents for screening and cheque collection.

Alh. Inuwa further assured that the Commission remains dedicated to improving the welfare of retirees. This move reflects a continuous effort by the state government to address pension-related issues and support senior citizens financially.
