About the Program
The GTCO Squad Hackathon 3.0, officially titled “Take on Squad Hackathon 3.0,” was launched by Guaranty Trust Holding Company (GTCO) in collaboration with its fintech subsidiary, HabariPay, on April 2, 2026.
This year’s theme, “Smart Systems: The Intelligent Economy,” challenges the brightest and most innovative minds in Nigerian universities to push boundaries and create impactful solutions.
Eligibility Requirements
To be considered, applicants must:
- Be currently enrolled in a recognized Nigerian university
- Form a team of 2 to 4 members
- Have teams that can include members from diverse academic disciplines
- Ensure at least one team member has a technical background (e.g., engineering, computer science, or data science)
- Possess a valid student ID
