The Ondo State Scholarship Board has officially opened applications for the Ondo State Scholarship and Bursary 2026. Established under the auspices of the Ondo State Government, this initiative provides financial support to students of Ondo State pursuing tertiary education in Nigeria.

About the Program
The Ondo State Scholarship Board, established on 26th April 2000, is an interventionist agency under the Ondo State Government’s Education Sector.
The Board’s mission is to empower Ondo State students across all tertiary institutions in Nigeria through scholarships, bursaries, and financial assistance.

- Scholarship Awards – for students with excellent academic performance.
- Bursary Awards – for students needing financial support.

Eligibility Criteria
1. Ondo State Scholarship Awards
- Must be of Ondo State origin
- Enrolled in the second year or above in a university course
- Minimum CGPA:
- 3.5 on a 4.0 scale
- 4.0 on a 5.0 scale
- Polytechnics: Minimum CGPA of 3.0
2. Financial Assistance
Must be Ondo State students enrolled in:
- Nigerian Law Schools
- Medical students undergoing clinical training
- Physically challenged students in tertiary institutions across Nigeria
3. Ondo State Bursary Awards
- Must be of Ondo State origin
- Enrolled in: Universities, Polytechnics, Monotechnics, Colleges of Education, Schools of Nursing/Midwifery, or Colleges of Health Technology across Nigeria

Benefits
