Key Responsibilities
As an Accounting Trainee, you will:
- Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Record daily financial transactions and ensure proper documentation
- Support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities
- Verify invoices, process payments, and reconcile accounts
- Assist in preparing financial statements and management reports
- Contribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual financial analyses
- Support internal and external audit processes
- Ensure compliance with established accounting standards and procedures
- Collaborate with other departments to gather financial data
- Provide support in generating financial insights for decision-making
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
- Not more than 30 years of age
- Must have completed NYSC or possess a valid exemption letter
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic accounting software
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
