Frontend Developer Intern (Hybrid)

Fairsure Payment Limited is a rapidly growing fintech company delivering innovative digital payment solutions through USSD, card, and transfer channels.
We’re building the next generation of secure and efficient payment systems and looking for a Frontend Developer Intern to join our expanding team.
Role Overview
The Frontend Developer Intern will collaborate with the development team to design, develop, and optimize user interfaces for our fintech solutions.
This role provides valuable mentorship, hands-on experience, and a pathway to full-time employment upon successful completion.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop responsive and interactive UIs using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Integrate frontend designs with backend APIs and payment services.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement clean and functional interfaces.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging.
- Suggest innovative ideas for improving user experience and system performance.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of frontend development experience (internship, freelance, or project-based).
- Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
- Familiarity with at least one modern framework (React, Vue, or Angular).
- Basic understanding of RESTful APIs and Git/GitHub.
- Eagerness to learn and thrive in a fast-paced fintech environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Backend Developer Intern (Hybrid)

Role Overview
We’re looking for a Backend Developer Intern who’s passionate about scalable systems, backend architecture, and problem-solving.
You’ll work closely with our software engineers to design, develop, and maintain backend systems that power our payment gateway platform.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in fintech backend development and potentially transition into a full-time role based on performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development of backend services using Java (Spring Boot) and MySQL.
- Assist with API integrations and third-party payment processors.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code under guidance.
- Collaborate with frontend teams to ensure smooth data flow.
- Participate in testing, debugging, and deployment.
- Learn best practices in system security and architecture.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of backend development experience (project-based, internship, or freelance).
- Strong grasp of Java and Spring Boot (knowledge of PHP, Node.js, or Python is a plus).
- Basic knowledge of MySQL or other relational databases.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and JSON data structures.
