In partnership with the African Leadership University (ALU), the Mastercard Foundation is offering fully funded scholarships for exceptional young Africans who aspire to drive change and make a lasting impact on their communities.
The African Leadership University Mastercard Foundation Scholarship provides full financial support covering tuition, accommodation, living stipends, travel expenses, and study materials (including a laptop) – ensuring that financial limitations do not hinder access to world-class education.

About the African Leadership University (ALU)

Since the inception of the ALU–Mastercard Foundation partnership, 768 scholars have been enrolled, with:
- 68% being young women,
- 19% (147) representing refugees or displaced persons, and
- ~1% comprising students with disabilities.

Eligibility Requirements
