The U.S. Department of State, through the U.S.–Middle East Partnership Initiative (MEPI), is inviting talented and motivated students from underserved communities across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region to apply for the Tomorrow Leaders (TL) Undergraduate and Graduate Scholarship Program 2026.

What the Tomorrow Leaders Scholarship Covers

The 2026 Tomorrow Leaders Scholarship is fully funded and takes care of all major study-related costs. Benefits include:

  • Full tuition fees and enrollment costs
  • Student housing and accommodation
  • Monthly living stipend while enrolled in program activities
  • Laptop computer (for use during the program)

Who Can Apply? – Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the 2026 Tomorrow Leaders Scholarship, applicants must:

Be a citizen of one of the eligible MENA countries.

Apply as either:

  • A high school senior (or recent graduate of 2025) for the undergraduate program, OR
  • A university graduate applying for the master’s program.
  • Have a strong academic record (80% grade average or higher).
  • Demonstrate financial need and come from socioeconomically underserved backgrounds.
  • Show proven leadership potential through extracurriculars, volunteer work, or community service.
  • Refugee students from eligible countries are also encouraged to apply.
  • Provide evidence of English language ability (basic test will be completed during the application).

Required Documents

A complete Tomorrow Leaders Scholarship application should include:

  • Completed online application form
  • Personal Statement (500 words or a 5–6 minute video)
  • Social Responsibility Essay (500 words max)
  • Official academic transcripts
  • For undergraduates: Grade 10, 11, and 12 transcripts + graduation certificate
  • For graduates: Bachelor’s degree transcript + certificate
  • Documentation of extracurricular/volunteer activities
  • Financial statement form
  • Online English language assessment results (free test provided)
