The Erasmus Mundus EACH (Excellence in Analytical CHemistry) Scholarship is a prestigious, fully funded master’s programme designed to train highly skilled specialists in analytical chemistry.

Graduates of the programme are well prepared for careers in industries such as food, pharmaceuticals, materials, and energy, as well as in chemical analysis laboratories covering environmental, food, and health sectors worldwide.

The EACH programme provides strong grounding in both fundamental and applied aspects of modern analytical chemistry, equipping students with advanced technical knowledge and practical expertise.

The programme is jointly delivered by four leading European universities:

• University of Tartu (UT) – Estonia (Programme Coordinator)
• Uppsala University (UU) – Sweden
• Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1 (UCBL) – France
• Åbo Akademi University (AAU) – Finland

The language of instruction is English. In addition, students gain exposure to the languages and cultures of the participating countries, enhancing their international communication skills.

Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for the Erasmus Mundus EACH Scholarship 2026/28, applicants must:

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with at least:
  • 60 ECTS in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering, and
  • 20 ECTS in Mathematics and/or Physics
• Achieve a minimum of 66% of the maximum obtainable grade, calculated as the average of all courses on the transcript
• Demonstrate English language proficiency

Scholarship Funding Options

1. EACH Consortium Tuition-Waiver Scholarship

• Covers full tuition fees for the two-year programme
• Insurance not included

2. EU-Funded Erasmus Mundus Scholarship (If Awarded)

Covers:

• Full participation costs (tuition fees and comprehensive insurance)
• €1,400 monthly allowance for up to 24 months, covering:
  • Living expenses
  • Installation costs
  • Travel and visa expenses

Application Process – Step by Step

1. Complete and submit the online application form via the DreamApply system by January 5, 2026.
2. Receive an applicant code to access and track your application status.
