The Erasmus Mundus Master in Intellectual Property and Data Law (MIPDaL) is a prestigious and fully funded international Master’s program designed to provide top-level students worldwide with advanced training in Intellectual Property (IP) and Data Law.
This integrated program is jointly offered by six leading universities across Germany, France, Estonia, Spain, and the United Kingdom, forming the MIPDaL Consortium.
About the MIPDaL Program
The MIPDaL program offers students an exceptional opportunity to study in multiple European countries and gain expertise in both IP and Data Law. Funded by the European Commission, the program awards up to 60 fully funded scholarships over five years—supporting 12 students per year.
Successful candidates enjoy full tuition coverage and receive monthly stipends to cover living expenses, travel, and accommodation.

Program Structure
- 1st Semester:
Students begin at one of the following universities:

- Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (Spain)
- Tallinn University of Technology (Estonia)
- Université de Strasbourg/CEIPI (France)
2nd Semester:
Students progress to a specialization track of their choice, concluding the program with a Master’s Thesis.
Eligibility Criteria
- Open to candidates from all countries
- You must study in two countries different from your country of residence at the time of enrolment
- Academic Qualification: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent 4-year degree)
- Conditional Offer: May be issued if you’ve completed at least 80% of your degree credits
- Language Proficiency: English, Spanish, or French (official proof required)
