Katsina Government Announces Recruitment of 2,000 Healthcare Personnel

Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, has announced the recruitment of an additional 2,000 medical personnel to strengthen healthcare delivery across the state.

Governor Radda explained that the recruitment exercise forms part of his administration’s commitment to improving healthcare services and addressing staff shortages in hospitals and primary healthcare centres across Katsina State. According to him, increasing manpower will ease the workload on existing health workers and enhance the quality of patient care.

In a related development, the Governor disclosed plans to employ about 2,000 teachers to replace those who have retired from the education sector.

He noted that the recruitment is aimed at closing manpower gaps in public schools and ensuring that every child in Katsina State has access to quality education.

Governor Radda emphasized that the recruitment initiatives align with the administration’s broader agenda of strengthening public service delivery while creating employment opportunities for youths and qualified professionals in the state.
