About the Project

Who Can Apply?
DSN is looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:
- Fluent in Nigerian Pidgin – Able to speak naturally and confidently, including the use of local idioms and proverbs.
- Clear and Expressive Voice – Good diction and vocal clarity are key for high-quality audio.
- Strong Reading Comprehension – Must be able to read and understand Nigerian Pidgin as written in short prompts.
What You’ll Do
If selected, you’ll:
- Receive a set of short Pidgin English scripts or prompts.
- Record yourself reading them aloud using your mobile phone or other recording device.
- Submit your recordings through a simple process that will be shared after registration.
No prior experience in voice acting or AI is required—just your fluency in Pidgin!
