Applications Open: Phase 6 of the MTN Foundation ICT & Business Skills Training
The MTN ICT & Business Skills Training is a flagship youth development program designed to empower young entrepreneurs (ages 18–35) with technology-driven skills that will keep their small businesses competitive in today’s market.
This 5-week online training features masterclasses from top industry experts and practical learning modules.
Eligibility Criteria
Age:
- Nigerian male or female, 18–35 years old.
Business:
- Must own and manage a small business operating for no more than 2 years.
Location:
- Business must be located in Ebonyi, Edo, Ekiti, Kebbi, Niger, or Yobe State.

About the Program
Since 2018, the MTN Foundation, in partnership with leading ecosystem players such as Oracle, KPMG, IBM, Digital Bridge Institute, CISCO, Google, Meta, and Microsoft, has successfully delivered 5 phases of training in 16 states — Abia, Adamawa, Akwa Ibom, Anambra, Borno, Cross River, Imo, Jigawa, Kaduna, Kano, Katsina, Kogi, Lagos, Nasarawa, Oyo, and Rivers — impacting over 4,036 young entrepreneurs.
In this 6th phase, 3,000 youths will receive training through collaborations with Microsoft and Meta:
- Microsoft will cover Entrepreneurship in the Digital Age, ICT for Business Success, and their latest Generative AI skills.
- Meta will deliver Meta Boost for Small Business, teaching how to build brands and grow businesses online.

- The top 300 participants will receive an Equipment Grant worth ₦90,000,000 in total.
