The Nigerian Army has officially opened the portal for the 91 Regular Recruits Intake for both trades and non-tradesmen and women. Online registration runs from March 30 to May 17, 2026, and is open to qualified Nigerians interested in serving their country.

Eligibility Requirements
Citizenship & Personal:
- Must be a Nigerian citizen by birth
- Must be single
- Must have a valid National Identification Number (NIN) and Bank Verification Number (BVN)
Fitness & Conduct:
- Must be medically, physically, and mentally fit according to Nigerian Army standards
- Applicants with criminal records are not eligible
Education:
- Minimum of four credits, including English Language, in WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, or GCE, in not more than two sittings
- Trades applicants must also provide relevant trade certificates
Age:
- Non-trades: 18–22 years by June 30, 2026
- Trades: up to 26 years by June 30, 2026

- Create an Account: Use a valid email and password
- Complete the Online Form: Enter accurate personal and educational details
- Print Required Documents:
- Photo Card
- Guarantor Form
- Declaration Form
Ensure the application is submitted online before printing any documents. Failure to do so will lead to disqualification.
Screening Process
- Shortlisted candidates will be invited for screening in their state of origin
- Screening is scheduled between June 9 and June 23, 2026
- Candidates must bring all printed documents for verification
- Electronic devices are prohibited at the screening venue
- Candidates with tattoos or body inscriptions may be disqualified
