The Renaissance Care and Empowerment Foundation (RECEF) has announced a nationwide recruitment for Data Collectors to support its ongoing development programmes across Nigeria.
This opportunity is open to qualified candidates in all 36 states and is field-based, enabling successful applicants to work directly within communities where RECEF projects are implemented.

Position: Data Collector
As primary field-level operatives, Data Collectors will play a vital role in gathering reliable, high-quality data from assigned communities and project locations.
They serve as a critical link between on-ground realities and RECEF’s analytical and programme teams, ensuring that decisions are driven by credible field evidence.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct systematic data collection using surveys, interviews, and field observations
- Capture and transmit data in real time using digital tools such as KoboToolbox and ODK
- Engage professionally and ethically with community members and stakeholders
- Ensure accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality of collected data
- Verify data consistency and quality before submission to the analytical team
- Support evidence-based planning, monitoring, and reporting activities

Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of OND, NCE, HND, or Bachelor’s degree
- Preferred fields include:
- Social Sciences
- Statistics
- Public Health
- Other related disciplines
- Prior experience in:
- Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E)
- Data analytics
- Community-based development programmes
(especially within the NGO or non-profit sector) is an added advantage
Technical Requirements
- Proficiency in KoboToolbox, ODK, or similar digital data-collection platforms
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and basic analytical tools
- Strong attention to detail and observational skills
- Ability to work independently across diverse environments
