The Schwarzman Scholars Program is a prestigious, one-year, fully funded master’s program in Global Affairs at Tsinghua University, one of the world’s top universities.

Eligibility Criteria
Schwarzman Scholars represent a diverse, globally minded cohort. Candidates must demonstrate excellence in:

Additional requirements:
- Undergraduate Degree: Must have completed or be on track to complete an undergraduate degree before August 1, 2027. All fields of study are welcome.
- Age: 18–28 years as of August 1, 2027.
- English Proficiency: All courses are taught in English. Applicants whose first language is not English must submit official scores from:
- TOEFL (minimum 100)
- IELTS (minimum 7)
- Cambridge English Advanced (C1) or Proficiency (C2) – minimum 185
- Duolingo English Test – minimum 130
- Waivers apply for eligible prior English education

Selection Process
- Rigorous application review by a distinguished global committee of business, government, and academic leaders
- Shortlisted candidates invited for interviews in late October to early November before an international panel
- Selection focuses on leadership potential, global perspective, and ability to contribute meaningfully to the program
