Sokoto State Government Recruitment 2025 – Applications Now Open

This is to inform all interested graduates wishing to take up job appointments with the Sokoto State Government that the official recruitment exercise begins on Monday, 22nd September 2025 and closes on Monday, 6th October 2025.

The recruitment is open across various sectors, providing opportunities for qualified indigenes to serve and contribute to the growth and development of the state.

Eligibility and Requirements

General Requirements

• Must be an indigene of Sokoto State
• Age between 18 – 35 years (exceptions may apply)
• Minimum qualification: NCE, HND, or Degree
• Must possess a valid medical fitness certificate

Required Documents

Applicants must upload scanned copies of the following:

• Valid Identification (NIN slip/card)
• Educational Certificates (NCE, HND, Degree, etc.)
• Birth Certificate or Age Declaration
• Certificate of Local Government of Origin (Indigene Certificate)

Step-by-Step Application Process

Step 1: Access the Portal

Ensure you have a stable internet connection and visit the official portal:

Step 2: Registration/Login

• First-time applicants: Click Start Application and register with a valid email and phone number.
• Returning applicants: Log in with your registered credentials to complete or update your application.

Step 3: Fill the Application Form

• Carefully complete all required fields, including biodata and educational background.

Step 4: Upload Required Documents

• Scan and upload all relevant documents: Educational Certificates, Proof of Indigene, Birth Certificate, NIN, etc.
• Upload a clear passport-sized photograph (recent and taken at the time of application).
• Ensure documents are properly scanned and legible.

Step 5: One Application Rule

• Submit only one application. Multiple entries may lead to automatic disqualification.

Application Deadline

All applications must be submitted between 22nd September and 6th October 2025. Late entries will not be considered.

• Interested applicants should obtain their application forms free of charge from their Local Government Secretariat of origin.
• After obtaining the form, applicants should log on to the official recruitment portal to complete their online registration.
