Job Description

Swift Networks delivers high-speed internet, telephony, and IP-VPN services to residential and enterprise subscribers. The company is currently seeking a dynamic Retention Specialist to strengthen customer loyalty and maintain its core customer base.

In this role, you will engage directly with customers to understand their challenges, identify opportunities to improve products and services, and implement effective strategies to retain their business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Resolve customer issues promptly in line with established procedures and company policies.
  • Handle inbound and outbound calls, as well as technical queries related to VOIP, Internet, and Data services across platforms such as LTE, WTTx, Fibre, and Wi-Fi.
  • Utilize Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software effectively to manage customer interactions.
  • Ensure full compliance with all relevant software applications while providing strong customer support.
  • Accurately log customer queries and escalate complaints to appropriate teams using designated tools.
  • Participate in regular training and coaching sessions, staying up to date with product and service changes.
  • Proactively suggest alternative solutions to resolve customer complaints as a priority.
  • Provide feedback and report recurring customer issues to supervisors to improve service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement aggressive retention strategies based on customer feedback.
  • Negotiate contract renewals and work to retain existing customers.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and business associates.
  • Assist customers with online payment processing and ensure they receive value for services rendered.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Minimum of a Second Class Upper (2:1) Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Entry-level role (suitable for recent graduates).
  • Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
  • Strong conflict resolution abilities.
  • Working knowledge of sales and marketing tools such as CRM software, Microsoft Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to remain calm, professional, and composed in high-pressure situations.

Salary: ₦100,000 – ₦116,000 per month
