Accelerated Teacher Professional Pathway (ATPP) | Professional Teaching Qualification for Non-Professional Teachers

The Federal Ministry of Education, in partnership with the National Teachers’ Institute (NTI) and the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN), has introduced the Accelerated Teacher Professional Pathway (ATPP) to provide opportunities for teachers currently in the classroom to obtain professional teaching qualifications and advance their careers.

The programme is designed to support educators who are actively teaching but do not yet possess a professional teaching qualification. ATPP provides an opportunity for eligible teachers to strengthen their professional preparation while continuing to contribute to teaching and learning.
