MTN ICT & Business Skills Training Programme 2026 | Link to Apply

MTN Foundation has opened applications for Phase 8 of its ICT and Business Skills Training Programme, a five-week capacity-building initiative designed to equip young Nigerian female microbusiness owners with practical digital, technology and business skills to help their businesses grow.

The programme combines self-paced online learning, instructor-led sessions, masterclasses from experienced entrepreneurs and a capstone project challenge. Participants will also receive data support throughout the training.

Since 2018, the initiative has trained more than 15,000 young microbusiness owners across Nigeria, working with organisations including Google, Oracle, KPMG, IBM, Cisco, Meta and Microsoft.

₦100 Million Equipment Grant Opportunity

The top 100 participants will receive equipment grants of up to ₦1,000,000 each, from a total equipment grant fund of ₦100 million.

The grants are designed to help successful participants strengthen their businesses through improved equipment and technology.

Who Can Apply

Applicants must:

  • Be a Nigerian female aged 18–35 years
  • Own and manage a microbusiness
  • Have a business that has operated for no more than 2 years
  • Have their business located in Rivers, Abia, Ogun, Kwara, Kano or Gombe State

How the Training Works

The five-week programme uses a blended approach combining online learning with instructor-led sessions. Participants will complete self-paced modules, attend learning sessions, participate in entrepreneur masterclasses and work on a capstone project.
