CapitalSage Holdings Graduate Trainee Programme 2027
Applications are open for the 2027 CapitalSage Holdings Graduate Programme, delivered through SageForge, CapitalSage Holdings’ flagship graduate programme. The programme is designed for graduates from all academic disciplines and will combine structured training, live business assignments, coaching, mentorship and professional development.
The 2027 cohort is planned to include 60 graduates, known as Associates. Onboarding begins in November 2026, with the programme running for 12 months.

About SageForge
SageForge is a 12-month leadership and career acceleration journey. The programme begins with a six-week, classroom-based and in-person Foundation Block at one centre in Ibadan, Nigeria.
During the Foundation Block, Associates build a common understanding of business fundamentals, professional effectiveness and the CapitalSage ecosystem. They then move into placements across CapitalSage businesses, where they work on live projects, operational and commercial challenges, and business-performance priorities through month twelve.
Applicants indicate their preferred business stream during the application process. Final allocation is confirmed after the core gate in week three and is based on the applicant’s preference, performance and business requirements.
Available Business Streams
- Financial Services & Fintech: Potential areas include digital finance, investment products, banking operations, customer experience, risk management, credit solutions, payment infrastructure and financial innovation. Identified businesses include Kolomoni Microfinance Bank, ERCAS, Regius Asset Management, Regius Capital and CreditAssist.
- Financial Services, Cross-Border Payments & Digital Wealth: This stream includes cross-border payments, remittances, digital wealth management, international financial services, digital product development and business growth. Identified businesses include Afrikmoney, Tiki, Chimoney, Vantage Finance and SageBrush Wealth.
- Healthcare: Associates may contribute to priorities within CapitalSage healthcare businesses.
- Agribusiness: Associates may work on priorities within CapitalSage agribusiness businesses.
- Manufacturing: Associates may be placed within CapitalSage manufacturing businesses.
- FMCG: Associates may work within the Group’s fast-moving consumer goods businesses.
- Logistics & Supply Chain: Associates may contribute to logistics and supply chain businesses.
- E-Commerce & Digital Retail: Associates may work on activities within CapitalSage e-commerce and digital retail businesses.
- Manufacturing & Commercial Services: Associates may be placed across businesses operating in manufacturing and commercial services.
- Corporate & Enabling Functions: Associates may support functions that serve the wider CapitalSage Group.
Foundation Block And Programme Activities
The six-week Foundation Block covers:

After the Foundation Block, Associates take on practical responsibilities through live projects and business assignments. Their development continues through coaching, performance feedback, mentorship, practical ownership, accountability and cross-functional collaboration.

Eligibility & Requirements
- Applicants must be graduates from any academic discipline.
- Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
- Applicants must have completed NYSC before the programme begins.
- A Second Class Upper (2:1) or above is preferred.
- Applicants should demonstrate leadership potential and initiative.
- Applicants should show entrepreneurial thinking, learning agility and adaptability.
- Applicants should demonstrate rigour, curiosity about how businesses operate and a desire to create meaningful impact.
- Applicants must be prepared to participate in the six-week, in-person Foundation Block in Ibadan.
- Applicants must be prepared to complete the 12-month programme and accept placement across CapitalSage businesses based on programme and business requirements.
Development And Career Progression
Associates receive structured leadership and professional development, exposure to multiple industries and business models, mentorship from experienced executives and business leaders, coaching and performance feedback. The programme also provides practical ownership, accountability and opportunities for cross-functional collaboration.
Top-performing Associates may transition into confirmed substantive entry-level roles across the CapitalSage Group after month twelve. This transition is subject to individual performance and business requirements.
