About the NIYA Gigs Initiative
NIYA Gigs operates as part of the wider Nigerian Youth Academy launched in March 2025.
It was introduced as a government-backed strategy to enhance digital capacity among young Nigerians and foster access to income-generating remote jobs.
Formally launched by the Vice President, this program is a direct response to the rising need for digital transformation and economic inclusion in Nigeria.
