Role Overview:
The Settlement Analyst will join Flutterwave’s Global Operations team, playing a crucial role in handling merchant settlements, reconciliations, and ensuring the accuracy of all transaction accounts.
This role also involves collaboration across finance, risk, and merchant support teams to maintain optimal operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly merchant settlements and reconciliations
- Review and reconcile merchant transaction details daily, resolving variances and pending settlements
- Oversee multiple merchant-related settlements and ensure timely processing
- Enforce strong operational and risk controls while maintaining audit compliance
- Collaborate with Finance, Risk, and Merchant Support teams to resolve discrepancies
- Document operational processes and support system automation and innovation
- Generate and submit weekly settlement reports
- Contribute to new platform initiatives and improvements
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related fields
- 1–2 years’ experience in auditing, reconciliation, or finance roles
- Strong Excel skills and ability to analyze large data sets
- Attention to detail, analytical mindset, and strong organizational skills
