Programme Structure
- Phase 1: Intensive Classroom Learning (1 Month)
A foundational phase covering key topics such as: -
- Business Strategy & Leadership
- Economic & Market Analysis
- Cement Industry Fundamentals
- Financial Management and Operations Excellence
- Phase 2: Cross-Functional Rotations
Trainees are assigned to various departments — including Production, Sales, Logistics, HR, and Corporate Strategy — to gain hands-on experience and operational insight. - Phase 3: Field Assignments & Leadership Labs
Participants will complete on-site training and extended field rotations at Dangote’s cement plants, depots, and project sites across Nigeria and other African locations.
They will also engage in leadership development labs focused on personal mastery, team management, innovation, and enterprise leadership.
Throughout the programme, trainees work on high-impact business projects that contribute to Dangote Cement’s strategic growth and sustainability objectives.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the Dangote Cement Management Trainee Programme 2025, applicants must:
- Be between 28 and 35 years old.
- Have completed the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme.
- Possess 5 to 10 years of relevant work experience.
- Hold a Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) — the HND is primarily considered for technical and engineering roles.
- Demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills.
