Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible, applicants must:
- Demonstrate strong leadership potential and influence
- Show excellent personal, intellectual, and interpersonal qualities
- Be a citizen of an eligible country
- Be willing to return to their home country after the fellowship
- Hold a postgraduate qualification (or equivalent experience)
- Have at least 5 years of professional and/or research experience
- Be currently employed or enrolled in a PhD program (non-UK/EU/USA)
- Meet Chevening’s English language requirements
- Be 30+? (Not specified here, but ensure age aligns with Chevening rules if needed)
- Not hold British or dual British citizenship
- Not be affiliated with the UK government or related institutions (within the last 2 years)

1. Overseas Territories (Atlantic & Caribbean): Anguilla, Bermuda, British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, Falkland Islands, Montserrat, St Helena, Turks and Caicos Islands
2. Southeast Europe: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, Turkey
Fellowship Structure
