Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and hands-on Program Manager to lead the planning and execution of a scholarship program for secondary school students in Lagos.

This role is ideal for a self-starter who is solutions-driven and passionate about grassroots education and youth development. The position follows a phased approach, with responsibilities spanning planning, participant sourcing, and program execution.

Key Responsibilities

1. Program Planning & Coordination

  • Collaborate with the Founder to design and execute the scholarship program
  • Provide local insights to enhance planning and delivery effectiveness

2. Participant Sourcing & Outreach

  • Drive awareness and applications through both online and offline channels
  • Coordinate outreach to schools, including engagement with administrators, teachers, and community networks
  • Manage the application and participant selection process

3. Vendor & Logistics Management

  • Source and manage vendors; negotiate pricing and service agreements
  • Oversee participant coordination, including attendance and daily logistics (e.g., transportation arrangements)

4. Data Management & Reporting

  • Develop and maintain a structured data system for the program
  • Provide regular updates and reports on program progress

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Prior experience in program coordination, operations, or project management
  • Familiarity with schools, youth programs, or community-based initiatives
  • Basic design skills (e.g., Canva or similar tools)
  • Proficiency in tools such as Google Forms, spreadsheets, and AI productivity tools
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and solve problems effectively
