Program Overview
The Graduate Trainee Program is designed to groom young professionals into future leaders by equipping them with practical knowledge and real-time experience in various aspects of restaurant operations and management. Successful candidates will undergo structured training and development in:
1. Operations, Health & Safety, Loss Control
- Perform routine QSC (Quality, Service & Cleanliness) checks, including meat cook-outs
- Use daily planner tools to ensure operational efficiency
- Monitor and address service, product, or quality issues
- Ensure proper food storage and equipment handling during restaurant opening and closing
- Implement staff positioning plans for effective shift management
- Report health and safety concerns to the Restaurant Manager
- Adhere strictly to operational policies and procedures
2. Business Planning and Financial Control
- Manage restaurant cash flow in line with company cash policies
- Support supervisors in stock level control and inventory accuracy
- Conduct regular maintenance and preventative checks
- Monitor compliance with portion control and waste reduction targets
3. Customer Service
- Lead by example and set the standard for exceptional customer service
- Monitor service quality and order accuracy at the front counter
- Promptly resolve customer complaints and feedback
- Promote and maintain Gold Standard service delivery among team members
4. People Management
- Train new hires and provide corrective coaching to staff
- Develop employees’ skills to achieve Service Expert status
- Address staff concerns or escalate them appropriately
- Encourage open communication during staff meetings

5. Sales Building
- Encourage effective upselling practices
- Update staff on ongoing promotions and sales strategies
- Recommend ideas for staff incentives to drive performance
- Build customer loyalty by recognizing and acknowledging regular patrons
