PalmPay Limited is seeking a highly analytical and results-driven Data Analyst to join our dynamic team in Ikeja, Lagos.

Key Responsibilities:

Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets to generate actionable insights that drive strategic business decisions.
Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and reports using data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Marketing, Finance, and Operations to understand data needs and deliver relevant insights.
Use SQL to query complex datasets and develop data pipelines as needed.
Apply statistical analysis and machine learning techniques to solve business problems (Python or R skills are a plus).
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), detect trends, and report anomalies or opportunities for optimization.
Support A/B testing and data-driven experiments to enhance product performance and customer experience.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
3 – 5 years of proven experience in a Data Analyst or Business Intelligence Analyst role; experience in a fintech environment is an added advantage.
Strong proficiency in SQL is essential.
Working knowledge of Python or R is a plus.
Hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex data insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced and agile environment.
